naoto fukasawa nine chairs are a part of vitra editions. they are all identical in design except that each chair is made from a different material. the different materials are marble, redwood, concrete, acrylic, wicker, metal, polyurethane foam, felt, and hay. each material transforms the appearance of the chair. this is exactly the result the designer fukasawa set out to achieve when he created the series of chairs to illustrate the impact of a single design decision, the choice of material.

from horm and karim rashid comes  a new collection blend. these emotional surfaces are produced by a series of vertical or horizonal wave silhouetted sectons which confer a sensual depth and richness.

the outdoor egg chair is a 60’s design classic which has been redesigned into a more modern version by peter ghyczy. this unique garden seat is both highly functional and versatile, lightweight enough to change positions and its unusual egg shaped design is an intrinsic feature that when closed ensures the seat is completely weatherproof.
